Ep 52: Understanding Imposter Syndrome
You know that nagging feeling of not being good enough, even if you’ve had years of experience under your belt? Mike and Scott have been there and they have a drink to go along with it. They discuss this feeling of phoniness as it relates to their many accomplishments from 20+ years of veterinary practice to stand-up comedy. They share the different branches of imposter syndrome they relate to such as being paralyzed by perfection, and the unrealistic need to be self-sufficient by not asking for help.
The vets will help you uncover the imposter in you through conversation and cocktails, whether you’re in the mood for something tropical and fruity, or you’re looking for a twist on the classic Bloody Mary. So get your shakers out and tune in to this episode as the vets expose the roots of understanding imposter syndrome, how it affects us all, and finding your confidence as a new grad.
